I have a great memory.
- Me: That boy we followed to Starbucks yesterday... Was his name Ryan, David, or John?
- Kiley: None of the above. Hahahahahahahaha. His name was Adam.

Loving Someone: the act of unconditionally loving another.
Being in Love: the realization that you are being unconditionally loved, too.

So. I just kind of wanted the entire world to know that I have the most handsome, wonderful, boyfriend on the planet. I could make a really, really, really long post, but I’ll save you. Just take my word for it(;
My favorite song… today(:
You are my most treasured possession. To say that I possess a church sounds a little odd, and I do understand that. But to possess something is to have something belong to you. Each and every one of you belong. Maybe not to me, but to Jesus Christ, and he lives in me. We possess Jesus, and he possesses us. Therefore, we possess each other; we are one body… the body of Christ. It doesn’t matter if you think you’re a limb, or a nose, or the eyes, or the ears, or the heart, or even if you’re the pretty painted finger nails, each one of you belongs. We all belong with each other. It is no coincidence that we all know each other, worship together, and are called to love one another. Life can get really difficult at times, but when we all join together on Sunday morning in our little ol’ church, it is hard not to stare Christ in the face when seeing every one of you. Christ is transcendent. He is all around. And because we are all so different just shows us how vast he is. When I think about where God wants me to go in my life, my only hesitation is that I’m heartbroken that I can’t take you all with me. You are my home. Leaving home isn’t leaving Sonoma, or even Nikki Drive, it’s leaving you. Each one of you is so dear to me. Every. Single. One of you. If just one of you weren’t here, I would be different. If just one of you weren’t here, our church wouldn’t be the same. We create the body of Christ. And just because not every one of you won’t end up living in Africa doesn’t mean you aren’t fulfilling the purpose that God has for you and you alone. No one can take your place. You are unique. You are wanted. You are loved. It’s hard to keep tears from coming to my eyes when I think of you all… you are my family. And I can’t wait for the day we all get to heaven and recognize each other. We’ll flock together and love on each other even more than we do now because it will be a perfect love. We’ll worship, we’ll sing, we’ll dance, and we’ll even tell really bad jokes, but we’ll be doing it for the love of God. And I’m sure He’s got a couple of silly puns He’s just dying to tell us, too! (If you ever compare our english translations to a Hebrew translation of the Bible, you’ll find out for yourself that God LOVES puns. It’s really quite funny…okay, not the point.) Anyway. Thank you for being real, open, honest, and even broken. We aren’t perfect, but no one is asking us to. What we are is a family. I have not been to a single church that is like ours. We are locked together. When things get tough, it’s just because we’re a huge threat to the devil. WHAT AN HONOR, RIGHT?! It means we’re doing our job. And when we don’t, we know that someone will help us figure out that job and get back to work. We hold each other accountable. We lift each other up. And we focus on God to be our everything. Life without you would be dull. Thank you for bringing it color. Thank you for introducing me to Jesus. I love you all.
